Rosemary Billard-Moalic assists her clients in their daily operations as well as in their outstanding operations.

Her strengths come from her unique background: she took a double course in English and Law which led her to teach English for a few years before turning to the legal profession. The result is bilingualism, pedagogy, and a great flexibility of reasoning.

Rosemary Billard-Moalic is a graduate of the Master 2 in Tax Law from Paris V. She worked for several years first as a tax paralegal and then as a tax lawyer in various firms, 6 years of which spent in the international taxation team of CMS Francis Lefebvre Avocats.

After a brief foray into the field of legal publishing as head of the international tax section of Editions Francis Lefebvre, Rosemary Billard-Moalic opened her office in April 2022.

An easy-to-read lawyer

Rosemary Billard-Moalic regularly publishes in the specialized and general press always with a view to desacralize the tax rule. Her article Which taxation for foreign-sourced dividends? published in Le Revenu in October 2017 allowed French shareholders of foreign companies to finally understand how their dividends should be taxed.

She also took part in the editing of a collection of double tax treaties in the era of the fight against tax fraud and tax avoidance published by Editions Francis Lefebvre.

An educational lawyer

Rosemary Billard-Moalic also continues to teach. She teaches International corporate taxation in the Master 2 in International Economic Law at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Taxation of expatriate and non-resident individuals in the Master 2 in Private Clients and estate law at the University of Orléans.

She also trains professionals on various tax issues:

- Tax management of expatriation which mainly covers the issues related to situations in which an employee is sent abroad by their company,

- tax management of newcomers in France which focuses on individuals who settle in France and then derive income from both France (for example, salaries) and abroad (for example, property income from the former foreign main residence when rented out), and who hold assets in several countries.

- tax management of international assetswhich focuses on international gift and inheritance rules (for example, when a Swiss resident leaves an estate including a house in Italy and Swiss bank accounts to his French resident children, which country is entitled to tax the estate?)
